We’re back, Chicago. And we’re bigger than ever.
After a brief hiatus, BeerHoptacular, Chicago’s original craft beer festival is back with more beer, more attitude and more… other stuff than ever before. What other stuff? In addition to our 75 brewers and 150+ craft beers, we’ll have some of Chicago’s best food trucks, the annual BeerHoptacular Homebrew Competition sponsored by Bell’s Brewery, a DJ spinning an all-vinyl playlist, a bicycle kegerator, Pappy’s Fridge, a live insult booth and much more.
BeerHoptacular takes place over two sessions on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the awe-inspiring Cinespace Chicago Film Studios. For the sixth time, Chicago craft beer fans will come together to celebrate their love of American beer culture and sample from an enormous selection of beer.
Join us and 4,000 of our closest friends. If you don’t, you’ll probably regret it.
A venue so big, it’s an actual film studio.
Located on the west side of downtown Chicago, Cinespace Chicago Film Studios occupies 1.45 million square feet of what was previously the old Ryerson Steel Company. BeerHoptacular will be held in one of their massive studio rooms, a space so big you could fit three football fields inside… and still have room to fit another football field. Seriously, it’s a twenty minute skateboard ride from one end of the room to the other. We checked. The owners didn’t love that.
When they’re not hosting BeerHoptacular, Cinespace Chicago specializes in the development, management and operation of studio facilities and is the current filming home of Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med. Yeah, we know.
We care about the issues.
A portion of the proceeds from the 2016 BeerHoptacular will benefit Chicago’s Ignite the Spirit Fund, an incredible organization that supports the Chicago Fire Department by helping to ease the hardship of families of firefighters in need.
BeerHoptacular is a Lou Dog Events Production.
